Hate to bust your perfect organization bubble, but one of your elders posted a thread on here today and thinks he gay, so don't think we couldn't just hack being an elder.

college is all nothing but getting most people in trouble with fraternities...sororities...etc...etc...mostly drinking, wild parties, and sex.
This was my college experience, but........that was just me at the time.

i am at the point in my custody battle where i need to decide if i'm gonna "go for the gold" and bring religion into the fight.
my lawyer thinks i have a chance based on the parental alienation aspect of the religion.
i'm df'd and my kids are being raised to turn against me.
If you are the one that gives them a normal childhood and sense of normalcy at school the JW religion will not have much influence on them and it won't take long for them to dislike it. I would make it clear to the husband that nothing of the JW religion goes to school with these children.

i just got an e-mail from my 80 year old mother asking my wife and i to join her for the memorial this year.
i really don't want to go, but i am also trying to maintain some degree of a relationship with her.
she is breaking the "rules" by not shunning me, but i don't know how she will react if i reject her invitation.
Go to the Memorial with your 80 yo mother, give her alot of attention leading up to it and make it a very happy evening for her. Even if you have to put on a pretense it will be worth it for the joy it will give her.

New things next 5 years? Here are some pretty easy ones the WTS could do.
I think doing away with the Awake magazine would be the most likely of these things to happen in the next 5 years. Haven't looked at one in 15 yrs, but can't really see why it's absolutely needed and would be a big cost savings for the WTS. Odds 1/1
WTS will make college education a conscience matter and will quit pestering people about it. Odds 3/2
Allowing Autologus blood transfusions as a conscience matter. Odds 2/1
FS will not be mandatory to be considered an active JW. Some type of monetary pledge to the WTS to help support the WW or volunteer work to the cong. will be allowed in-lieu of FS. This move will keep more people (including youth) as JW's and provide more money to the WTS. FS will still be encouraged, but the days of everyone dreading having to go will be over. Odds 3/1

for those who still have to go to meetings or are still in for one reason or another but no longer beleive, why not hurt the wt finacially as much as you can by ordering books and getting as much literature as you can and not paying for it.. i would not want to suggest dipping your hand in the contributions destined for the wt coffers as that would be illegal but it has crossed my mind and morally i see nothing wrong with stealing from these frauds..
In most cases you will not fool those in charge of the literature and accounts. They will not just let boxes of orders come into the cong. and only a small donation from the cong. going back to the WTS to cover the literature. The order will simply be adjusted down. The whole idea of a fade is to slowly back off placing literature. If you can falsify time cards with lot's of hours & literature placements, I would think you would bring more attention to yourself if you start backing off. The whole idea doesn't make much sense. More honorable to have some integrity about your true activites.

Unless things have changed in how they oversee this stuff, if a cong. has a large literature order and not much in donations going to the WTS it will be noticed and the order adjusted. Again, I've been out awhile, but I remember publishers being expected to donate to cover their personal or family literature order and the donations recieved from householders hopefully covering your expense.
The whole idea sounds like a waste of effort and resources. If a person feels that strongly they should just quit going to meeting, FS and donating money.

That might work briefly, but the elders will adjust the literature order if they run into deficits due to lack of contributions.
